“My style is a hodgepodge of everything I love: classical, jazz, R&B, cinema, anime, pop, and more. My influences range from Chopin to Ahmad Jamal, Hiromi Uehara, John Mayer, TOKiMONSTA and Joe Hisaishi.
In terms of what I play, it’s the piano. The piano is an amazing instrument. It’s the singer, bass, drums, violin, cello.. you name it. It’s the whole orchestra, band and combo. It’s the easiest way to express myself without needing to compromise on anything.
My music walks the line between a singer/songwriter and instrumentalist. I just mostly let the piano do the singing.”

“Nomad in the Sky is an exploration of my favorite animé and tv shows that embody the hero’s journey. I wanted to create a piano suite that encapsulates the mysticism, awe, and vivaciousness of an epic voyage. I imagined my mascot, the astronaut pianist, as a samurai flying through the skies on a magical cloud, accompanying him on his many trials to victory.”

Vanguards of the Cosmos

George imagined this album as an auditory story of brave heroes traveling across the galaxy and exploring the sonic possibilities of harmony, timbre, and color. These vanguards pay homage to a time long ago while forging new sounds reverberating throughout the universe. The artwork is a collaboration with visual artist duo Giorgiko.

“One of my favorite scenes in cinema is Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka marveling at his Chocolate Factory and inviting his guests to a world of pure imagination. I wanted to recapture the magic Wonka brought to screen by reimagining the famed song in a pianistic and improvisatory way. The song hopefully captures the innocence of Wonka's dreams, the playfulness of the factory, and the certain, uncertainty of life. The single will also act as a promotion for my tour with Steinway & Sons across the USA.”
